One word. SHOOK. I was more than just shook after seeing Hamilton- it was one of those things where you just think to yourself, ‘HOWWW DO THEY DO THIS??’ Like it was definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, hands down. They can sing, dance, and act like angels. I didn’t listen to the music much before going, but now it’s all I listen to. I’m literally listening to it right now. Nonstop. But honestly, it was so much better than I could’ve imagined it would be. Unless you have $800 in your back pocket for the Broadway Hamilton tickets, Chicago is 100% a must. I don’t know how Broadway could really be any better (no shade), because this was insanely good. We ordered the tickets last June but I looked up tickets on the way home for the next possible show (judge all you want, idc) because I could just see it over and over and over again!
It was just my mom, my best friend Carson, her mom, and I that went to Chicago this last weekend. Such a refreshing trip. It was fun to just goof around all weekend and walk around Chicago at night. I miss it very much, I really think we need to do this every weekend. When we first got there, we went to this super boujee little restaurant (a little out of our element haha) that was so yummy!!! (Check out my instagram to see the absolutely pleasing picture of all our food). After Hamilton, we checked into our hotel and went to dinner and walked around. I need to stop writing about it because I’m going to get into depression mode and go beg my mom to take me back to Chicago :-((
Hope everyone had a great week! ❤ xoxo
(P.S. there’s a video at the end of the pics! I got a new camera, so I tested it out this weekend! Don’t judge, I’m still learning the ways of the camera and I’m trying out new editing techniques;-) )
